Groundwater control/Construction Dewatering
Groundwater table within the region is relatively high to the ground level due to low lying ground levels, recharge of groundwater from the Arabian Sea and constant irrigation caused by urbanization. Groundwater is therefore subject to lowering during construction works especially for deep foundations. Our vast experience and expertise helps in selecting appropriate dewatering methods for different excavation, subsurface conditions, and hydrogeology and site location. Selection of appropriate methods helps in reducing environmental impacts/risks associated with the groundwater control. CME also provides services in mining and oil & gas industries. Backed by decades of industry experience and technical expertise we are committed to providing our clients with engineered, time-saving and cost-effective solutions to their groundwater problems Our teams combine geotechnical, hydrogeological, engineering and construction management skills, a strong supply chain, quality equipment and materials and skilled operatives to meet our client’s needs. Our groundwater department has got expert in the field of geology, hydrogeology and hydrology. Our dewatering designs are optimized to reduce risk, time as well as cost. We approach our design in different phases as below: Stage 1: Analytical analysis based on the review of geotechnical investigation Stage 2: Numerical analysis based on geotechnical investigation and analytical analysis Stage 3: Review of stage 1 and 2 based on insitu test (Pumping test, Slug test, packer test, and Falling & Rising head test)
